I’ve managed to come across some resources for crisis and just plain good informative content that I think is worth sharing. Enjoy! let me know if you have any resources to add to this list!
As always, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline for the United States. They’re a great resource for if you are in crisis or want to learn more about suicide.
Drug Rehab is a great resource for those wondering about drug use, abuse, and recovery. They have a 24/7 help feature over the phone and are all around a great resource! Shout out to Marissa over at their site! she informed me of their services and I’m happy to feature them on this blog.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness has a great site. They are a great tool to use when educating yourself and are a huge influence and active group in the field of mental health and I appreciate them so much. I got my de-escalation and group facilitation training from them.
The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention is also a great site for educating yourself and getting involved. Their Out of the Darkness walks are incredible.
MentalHealth.gov is great for educating yourself and outreach.
These are just a few resources! the list goes on and on. Hopefully this will get you started if you are just curious or want to educate yourself a little more.
This list will be updated as I find more resources. if you have questions about your specific area, message me! (or google it)
